Experimentation.

This is a series of photos produced in an exercise exploring a more subjective and experimental area of photography. I took photos that focused on colour, texture, light and motion and created these images from them using photoshop and layering several together. They don't all work, but I quite like the simplicity of the red fire extinguisher. The concept behind the second one was the mixture of refelctions and light you get when driving in a car but the composition and light doesn't quite work as effectively as I wanted it to.

Here are just a few photos from my visit to Newcastle this weekend for the Uni open day. It's an exciting city and visually very interesting, particularly the mixture of architecture. It's generally just a great place to take photos.
